The Contest is Underway
Fact or Fiction! And What Has Gone Before
There was a time that I said the Flight For Revenge would be the only novel that was fiction. I was wrong. After I wrote the novel, I realized how much truth was within the pages. Therefore, I thought… how fun it would be to see how many of you know what is true or not? Who are the real life characters those in the book represent? What actions did they really take? What was spoken in deposition and trial? Who is Darby? More so, what is included from the seven previous novels?
There are two parts to this contest for the highest point count to win a total of $1000.
PART ONE: FACT OR FICTION
What is TRUE in Flight For Revenge? You can go wild and guess on this part of the contest without points taken away if you’re incorrect.
PART TWO: WHAT CAME BEFORE
To get points for part two of the contest, you must have read the other novels to tell me what was in the other novels that is in this book too. If you decide to guess without reading and you’re wrong, points are taken away. Besides, you have to tell me which book the fact was in. Some facts are in all the books, you just have to provide one book, not all.
SPECULATION:
There might be speculation on my part that is true, but because I don’t know it for a fact, that won’t count as truth. However, if you have proof of something you think I speculated on, I will count that as an extra point if you provide the truth.
RULES:

- Under each Chapter Write Fact: Number your responses (you can paraphrase)

- Under each Chapter Write Before: Number your response and name the novel with the response. (you can paraphrase)

- Copy and paste a picture of your books, at the end of your contest, and you get an EXTRA POINT!!

BEFORE:
1. In one of the books Darby played strip poker (you guess the book and get extra points)
This is the format for the entire entry for each chapter.

CLUES:
Each month I will provide a clue.
September Clue: All Revenge in this book is fiction.
October Clue: If you want to know my favorite Bourbon, Kathryn and Josh are drinking it.
November Clue: Dr. Marsh in the novel is inspired by Dr. Faulkner, Delta’s in house doctor. If you want to know what is true about Dr. Marsh’s character in the book, read Dr. Faulkner’s deposition testimony here.
December Clue: The attorney whose character, was based on Delta’s labor relations attorney does in fact chew his fingernails to the nubs.
January Clue: Global Air Lines is based on Delta. Coastal Airlines on NWA. It’s true that the two airlines merged. Delta (Global) was the surviving airline, despite Northwest (Coastal) brought more to the table.
February Clue: ALPA is ALPO.
TIES
If we have entrants who have the same point count, I will either conduct a drawing or allow you to share it. Your choice. Majority rules. If only two you must both agree. If there is no majority agreement there will be a drawing.

Entries can arrive early, but they must be in by June 15, 2026, to give me time to read and add up the points. This contest is inspired by all those who bought books in hopes of winning a car. Now you have them, keep reading, and you might just be the $1000 winner.
